Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.

I was just reading about Rollright on another blog… I’d never heard of it before! They had a picture of a hole-stone just like the one I saw on Shee Mor… do you know anything about that?

There ara couple.. one of them sights straight through to the Whispering Knights burial chamber.

Wow! The one on Shee Mor sighted to the summit of the Iron Mountain, but I think that may not have been the original target, as it was half fallen.

May well have been though. Recent work at Stonehenge seems to show that a half fallen stone is a sight line and so probably not half fallen after all.

The Iron Mountain was quite an important place in ancient lore, so maybe it was a true sight line. Or maybe some astronomical event directly above it. How exciting!
