Note from the small dog… on the annual review…

stats1Crunchy? There I was thinking it was bones… but no, she’s just had the annual WordPress review.  You can have a look if you like. It makes you blink a bit… I mean, Sydney Opera House is all very well, but if I had a tennis ball for every visit…!

Of course, I can’t say I am entirely happy with the report… with two of her posts in my top five… She seems inordinately pleased with herself for that…  and you have to allow her a bit of leeway… Imagine how she must feel… out-written by a small dog!

Although, of course, the top post of the year (apart from mine) was quite rightly the excited scribble she wrote after watching my boy walking in the robot skeleton thingy….

As for the plan for world domination, there are still gaps… though it does appear to be coming along nicely. Anyone know any dog lovers in Bolivia?

I reckon though that when you are writing you are hoping to be read, ’cause until a word is read it is just a mark on a page. Might as well just be a muddy pawprint… though there are stories I could tell you about that… You see, it is only in the imagination of the reader that the words finds their heart and soul. Until it is read, the writer is just talking to themselves… and she already does enough of that without any encouragement…

Mind you, I was surprised how much she’d actually written this year… you could make a book thick enough for her to stand on to reach my treats on the top shelf… And people have read it…!  Just shows what you can do when you are having fun.

That’s the best bit of course… it has been fun. She’s read lots and learned stuff. I’ve been able to get to know people, made friends, shared laughter. And that’s priceless.

Thank you for sharing the year with us…

Happy new year!

Much love, Ani

(and her, of course!)

Congrats, Ani! Who could resist those pleading eyes and your penchant for tennis balls. I would look for tennis players in South America – some of them are bound to have dogs!
