Yes, I know. Twice in one week… but I’m excited!
You read about the letter from my Dad, yes? Well… I was talking to him on Facebook last night! An’ he’s not too far away… and we might even be able to meet up!
And… guess what? My Mum’s on there, and her two-legs got in touch too! And the two legses are talking about dates and places ‘n stuff!
And I think one of my litter-mates may be around somewhere as well….!
My Mum is still with the nice lady who looked after us for Many Tears when we were tiny and homeless. She gave me a toy that smelled of Mum. I’ve seen pictures… she looks really happy and not so tired. They say I have my Mum’s eyes, and my Dad’s smile… how cool is that? And you should see the other friends my Mum has!
If we can all meet up, I will see if she will get some of her picture thingys for you.
I got a poem too… from another friend…Someone writes poems to me! So it was a very good day yesterday!
Today, of course, the ball guy is coming again. I have them lined up… all ready for him… Mind you, I’ll have to be patient. I’m off to stay with my mates Gooch and Hardy again first while they go give a talk. That’s always fun… though frankly, I’m a little miffed about having to wait. You should see how many tennis balls I have for him to throw now! Mind, I do worry ’bout the bridle thingy…he’s joking, right?
It just shows you though, you never know what is round the corner, do you? It isn’t always good stuff… sometimes it is, sometimes it might be the vet or the bath… Sometimes the good stuff isn’t as good as it seems… like when she hides those pill things in a lump of cheese (as if I can’t taste the things anyway…) And sometimes that bad stuff isn’t as bad as it seems. Like the horrible stuff that stops me catching fleas from next door’s cat.
Okay… I don’t know if next door’s cat does have fleas… she says I have to be fair… but it should.
Anyway, she says I have to get off the ‘puter so she can get on… and I have to go get ready to see Gooch and collect the tennis balls.
Much love,
Ani xxx

Oh Ani! this is such happy splendiferous news. I am going outside and jump for joy for you. My SamCat (who does not have fleas because I put that stuff on him) was the last one of his brothers and sisters to be rescued. I’m glad because they saved the best one for me. But what a great day! Ball man and talking on FB and meeting up with Mum and Dad…It just almost doesn’t get any better, does it? I hope you just keep having fun and enjoying yourself. I know sometimes it can be a hard job, having fun…but you just keep on doing it! Hugs.

Oooh Ani! How exciting! It would be awesome if you could meet your mum and dad, and maybe a littermate or two if you’re really lucky 🙂 If you do meet mum and dad you really must make sure there are lots of pic’s for us to look at on here! Now as to fleas…hmm…erm…well…it’s that time of the year now isn’t it? And fleas are rampant right? So if Icewolfie gets fleas that would be totally understandable and perfectly natural wouldn’t it? lol…you see Ani….Wolfie DOES have fleas!!!! Big, fat, itchy, jumpy fleas!! And we don’t have any flea spray on Europa! Oh wolf!!!! 😉

Oh Ani! You are one lucky pooch!! Enjoy your reunion and tell us all about it. I just love your posts!! Stay flea free if you can. Also watch out for those ticks or maybe you don’t have them in your part of the world. Pat, pat on the head.

I loved this post Ani, and it put me in mind of a review that my eldest dog, Ronan, pawed a while back. He told me to re-post it recently, so follow this link if you want to read it. Your Mum may enjoy it too. She may even re-blog it so that all your doggie friends can read it.
PS Don’t you think that we dogs write so much better than our pet humans?

The human one here, Lance… I see you have problems too… I daren’t show Ani. Her taste in literature would show me up… she fetches me things to read like ‘How to teach quantum physics to your dog’ and didn’t speak to me for a week when I laughed at ‘How to live with e neurotic dog.’ Psychology is a valid approach, I feel… She didn’t agree.
