Spring

An old one this morning, as there just is no more time 🙂

Spring

Ah, Spring! My spirit soars within

Where so long dormant it has lain.

Awake my soul! The Spring has come

And Pan will play his pipes again.

The land is emerald cloaked once more,

Where silver winter’s robe has been,

The trees awake with nascent life,

The Earth is decked in living green.

The hills cry out!

I hear the voice of Spring,

I can’t resist her call,

So, to the moorlands wild and free,

I go to walk. I feel so small

As all around me is reborn.

To greater glory I must bow

As that which once seemed dead and bare

Returns in wondrous beauty now!
