Hold them in your thoughts

waddesdon 020

Please hold in your thoughts, hearts and prayers the victims and the families of all those whose lives have been touched by the events at the Boston Marathon. Please also hold in Light all those who have lost loved ones, who are hurt or traumatised by violence and hatred in all corners of the world.

Thank you.

Our thoughts and prayers go our to the families of the casualties of this horrible act of terror. As the sirens blare on, and the television covereage runs and reruns the limited footage intersperced with interviews with “experts” of all kinds, security, police, hospitals, eyewitnesses, etc. we gravitate to the screen to watch the horror unfold…and pray…for recovery, as a city, state, nation, and as a people. God bless and God speed.

We do unspeakable evils to each other so often, please hold strong the light for so many are in need.

  7. And pray also that the hearts and souls of the perpetrators of this and other evil actions are enlightened and that they turn their faces to the light.

  8. Tragic, devastating news. This is a city that my husband and I love and we have visited several times. My heart and prayers go out to everyone involved. There are more good people than bad. They demonstrated that when they rushed in to help even though they didn’t know if they’d be in danger by doing so.

Violence and untimely death are always tragic but I am particularly upset by this attack. I used to run (though only 10k) and loved watching marathons because they are joyous community events in which anyone can take part and possibly raise money for charity. You don’t have to be the best, just the best that you can be.
So I too send love and blessings to those who went for a happy, healthy family day out and had their lives blighted by the mindless ones who think murder is a good way to make a statement.
And may these ones be brought into the light.
