Iris #Haiku

First petals fallen Across a painted landscape Summer's flag flying

Irises are amongst my favourite flowers. I know the purple one is a bearded iris, not a flag iris, but having just uploaded the picture, it seemed perfect for Ronovan’s haiku challenge this week.

Hi! I was wondering if you would be interested in being part of a “Haiku Hub” I am thinking of setting up on my blog. If you would like to be included just let me know in a reply and I will add your blog to the Hub Page. I am hoping to get as many Haiku writers together to share their writing. Your haiku are always brilliant so I would love to include you as one of the “go to” haiku writers.
