“Hugh’s Weekly Photo Challenge: Week 25 – “Music”

fox wedding 019 (18)

Last year we were invited to attend a rather unusual wedding. Both Bride and Groom are Foxes… and we were asked to come along with the cameras to record a private performance by Mister Fox, where the newly married couple played for the dance. As they were unmasked and…’no-one knows who they are’…the photographs had to be carefully framed to preserve their anonymity. It is always a fabulous evening when the Foxes dance… but this one was special and the bridal arch through which the couple walked was made of flames.

  1. Sue, thanks for a brilliant look into the world of the Silent Eye. They are very dramatic photos.
I’ve got my #writephoto post ready for publication tomorrow. I hope you enjoy reading it. All I’ll say is that it’s a little different 😄I’ve no idea where the idea came from.

Ah, the Foxes do not belong to the Silent Eye…they belong to no man 🙂 But we love them and what they do and they were kind enough to dance for us this year… which was incredible 🙂

I’ll look forward to it, Hugh. Your fiction always has a surprising twist somewhere… 🙂

      • Oops! my mistake, sorry, Sue. Nevertheless, the photos are great. Reminds me of the torches they carry through Lewes on Bonfire Night.

As for my attempt at this week’s #writephoto, lets just say that I wrote it late last night. I never write after midday, as I always write at my best in the morning (well, that’s what I think anyway). I was going to delete the post, but something keeps telling me not to do so. Now, it’s ready to go and I’ll be publishing it. I can’t imagine what, if any, reaction it will get.

    Interesting read.
