These pages may be no mighty oak, but the rest of the quote seems to fit.
I mentioned this morning the sad, slow beginnings of this blog, with its whole six views in its first year.
The blog has grown a little since then. Today it informed me that it has been read a quarter of a million times.

Compared to many blogs and websites, that may be no great thing.
Compared to six views in a year, it is simply incredible.
I could not let that pass without saying something appropriate.
So, from a little nut and her mutt…

the pleasure is all ours

That’s just awesome, Sue! I tend to write what I want to write and only look at my stats occasionally, but they’re not particularly high. I have a theory that most people gravitate toward blogs with some pictures along with the text. When the person is a fantastic photographer like yourself, posts just take off soaring. Good on you!
Incidentally, the only post with more than 12 likes on it on my blog also has a picture posted on it … yours. 🙂

I think the pictures do make a difference, Éilis. And although I like to find great pictures too, it really is the content I am there for 🙂

You have grown that acorn into a very mighty tree, for sure, Sue.🌳 Hard to believe it took so long for anyone to find you. And thanks for the tips on the earlier post. I didn’t know about the visibility function, a new one for me. Blog on…you do it so very well. 💕

Thanks, Van. I just feel incredibly grateful to have readers at all 🙂 There is a part of me that still wonders how that happened 🙂
The visibility function is something I’ve only recently started playing with and find very useful. ❤

Well done, Sue! It’s good how the numbers add up, isn’t it? I’m a long way behind you… but getting there!

That’s a huge number of hits, Sue. Congratulations to Ani and you 🍾
I think I have a better chance of winning the lottery than getting that many hits on my blog.
Keep on Blogging 😀
