Going underground…

About Sue Vincent

Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue  passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.

  5. That man really went underground. That’s overdoing it a bit. How tragic, though, that people often died at so young an age. I wonder if Ian Fleming got the name for his character from a tombstone. I read that Dickens sometimes took names off tombstones for his characters. It seems the maker of that grave marker wasn’t told the exact year of the man’s death.

Sadly that was around the average life expectancy mark in those days. There are some fabulous old names on gravestones; I spend far too much of my time in cemeteries 😉
