About Sue Vincent
Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.
Your poetry is so evocative, Sue.

I too am sorry about that, James… and there will be a most abject apology winging its way to your inbox in a little while 🙂 Trouble is, Paul’s book has turned up now and I may have to find time to read it 🙂

Seriously, it is my fault Sue. I didn’t think I would be coming until the very last moment, and I had no way of getting in touch with you – although in hindsight I should have rang the Cow and Calf first.I had arrived about half past nine and there were people in the restaurant and I thought it would be rude to barge in and ask if you were there. I hope you had a good bimble on the moors and that everyone was blown away by them. Enjoy the book, it is superb 😌

I must have spent half the weekend keeping back tears at the sheer beauty of the place, James. It always gets to me… and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I would normally have been up and about when you arrived, but had driven nine hours that day (don’t ask… I know it isn’t that far from Worcester… but there was England and heather and hills….)

I have lived next to the moors for nearly 50 years and i see the Great Skirtful tomb from my back window – I still get blown away every day just thinking about them…

I can’t imagine being that lucky… I spent 20 years away from the moors and they never stopped pulling like a hand in the heart.
