It was lovely and quiet here. Such a perfect choice.
She loved the way the sunlight teased through the windows, giving the image of spotlights on the stone floor as if anticipating petite ballerinas to dance to the haunting music that would echo round the pillars tomorrow.
Ah yes, tomorrow.
When her family would gather, old and new, united after thirty years.
It was all her doing of course.
No-one would have wanted to miss this performance, her unique encore, as she gracefully and elegantly bowed out of their lives…
