She says that I am Irish
To be fair, I’m not so sure…
Is Irish like Italian,
Where passion has no cure?
Where seeking to drive passion out…
A new nail through the old…
The new feeds no obsession,
Is ignored and leaves you cold?
No matter what the state it’s in,
When all is said and done,
For me obsession simply means
There can be only One.

About Sue Vincent
Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.
I love the haiku Sue and the images are so appealing. Have you thought of getting Ani one of those tennis ball machines that automatically spits the balls out ?

You can add Spanish to your list of the obsessed. Finbar does the same with tennis balls, doesn’t play with them just slowly and deliberately peels them like oranges. He gets a reel buzz out of peeling tennis balls.

My Buzzy’s favorite is a white fuzzy handed down from three deceased owners. Every dog adore it. We usually have two American Eskies and the youngest always grabbed this baby whenever the dominant was occupied. Bay mourns the whole time it’s n the laundry. He plays wit it all day and takes it to bed with him. He chews it’s nose as he drifts off to sleep. Occasionally he slips it utside and we play keep away.

Sue, I loved your take on obsession, or should I say Ani’s take on obsession? 😀 What a delightful way with words you have. And, the Haiku was perfect too! Ani is just gorgeous! ❤

Oh my goodness… she should meet my Spice. Same way. The personalities are amazing. Sugar is as low keyed as Spice is hyper. Two adorable 12 year old Pomeranians who have dog-heimers! LOL! Ani, is beautiful! ❤

Two? Ani is handful enough 🙂 She’s standing here looking at me accusingly as I finish supper… she HAS already had half of it… 😉 I still can’t resist those eyes though ❤

Oh, yes. Two. I have to add them to the thank you’s at the beginning of my book. They have spent countless hours in here with me listening to the keyboard and lending me their brain power! ❤
