The mors around Ilkley are incredibly beautiful… but they guard their mysteries too…

Thanks for sharing this fascinating post, Sue. It strikes me there is so very little we really know and understand – maybe we aren’t meant to.
When I saw your post come in my first thought was – oh, no, it can’t be after midnight. Much relieved to find it isn’t as I have a lot still to do before then.

It was nice to be able to share James’ post with a different perspective of the moor… but from someone who loves them deeply. I agree, there are things we do not need to understand… to wonder is enough 🙂
No.. I actually got an ‘early’ night for once, Mary 🙂

Truly spooky and informative, Sue. Thanks for sharing. I’d like to see these sites someday.

These are the places I love…of course, you’d probably need a guide who knows her way 😉

Kind of creepy, the way he tells it. Your ghosts seem much more friendly! 😉

You hve only to explore James’ blog to see he shares my love of the place… but it is undeniable that strange things happen up there…though I have never felt anything but safe and protected on the moors.
