We began our summer very early and I was swimming by mid May which was six weeks early.. Last night the temperature was 14 overnight… August is usually the hottest month of the year but it all seems to have shifted by six weeks.. me thinks an early and very cold winter on the cards.. Lovely as always Sue.. XXS

The heating is groaning into life here… and the thermostat should only allow it to come on below 13… I think you may be right. The leaves are starting to turn too. xxx

We have signs of an early autumn in what should be the height of summer… Sue has a few words to say on the subject.

We don’t get autumn at all here and I miss it. We’ve had a poor monsoon which means water restrictions for the rest of the year.

We have had a lot of heavy rain the past few days, but the reservoirs are still very low.

Great image and very mouthwatering haiku Sue. And the foxes will be out snacking on their favourite fruit as long as the hunts allow!!

The hunts are supposed to be largely illegal here now 🙂

Lovely Haiku! I will be ready for autumn when it arrives, but for now I am savoring the last few weeks of summer. Hugs.
