I have been remiss.
I have been given awards for the blog and have put off posting them till later when they have come through, being permanently tied up and frantic at present with the launch of the School imminent.
I apologise profusely to anyone I have missed or not posted. I am trying to find them. Honest.
They matter.
Three awards came through the day I was so far away with the fairies on morphine in hospital last week. I know they are there. Just don’t know where. I vaguely remember replying on the cell phone…but that is as far as it goes. Much of last week is a blur, and it had been coming on for some time.
But that anyone would read enough and care enough to nominate me matters. A lot.
There is still, even now, a sense of disbelief that anyone would read my ramblings except by accidentally stumbling across them. Yet I have made friends, lives have touched mine, stories have been shared, discussions enjoyed. I know people… not just ‘bloggers’ but people, by name, by thought, know their writing styles and interests. Not, perhaps, as well as I would do sitting at my table over a coffee, but even so… The words and images that are shared here are a window on many hearts and lives.
So THANK YOU.
Today I received a nomination from Jim at The Running Father Blog for the Moments Matter Award.
I stumbled across this blog searching for something for the School regarding the work of Claudio Naranjo. It is an informative and always interesting site. I did have to chuckle though when he posted one article… quite coincidentally by a close friend of mine in Brazil, Joao Claudio Fontes. It shows what a small world we live in thanks to modern communications.
The Running Father Blog takes a wide and intelligent approach to many aspects of spirituality, consciousness, science and psychology mysticism and religious belief and is well worth a visit if this approach interests you. It is a new blog and a good one.
“Awarding the people who live in the moment,
The noble who write and capture the best in life,

Savoring the experience of quality time.”

I am fairly new to your blog but what I have read so far shows that without a doubt you deserve more than a few awards.
Can’t wait to sink my mind into some more of your material!
I have not read yet the reason for you being in the hospital, I hope you are okay? =/
And I hope those fairies treated you well! HaHa

Thank you, Shane, on all counts. A long standing problem that decided to floor me on the way home from a trip north.. leaving me dangling out of the car in a layby while the ambulance arrived 🙂 Not a pretty sight. I’m much better, thank you.
Fairies are okay, as long as you remember they are older than you, you know 😉

You are tireless Sue. Thank you for the kind words about my blog. Joao Claudio Fontes ended up contacting me (apologetically, under his wifes email account 🙂 ) and we exchanged a few Emails. His post happens to be one of the most viewed… He hit a chord with people (I’m sure he knows) and I thought just this morning about shooting him a thank you.

Good morning, Jim,
Joao knows his stuff where the Enneagram is concerned… apart from being a thoroughly nice guy…and having learned with Naranjo he has both excellent knowledge and a very human touch to how he shares it. He is a young man I think we may hear more of.

It is strange that I have travelled to the other side of the world to become connected from my country of birth, it feels good to make your acquaintance 🙂 Robert
