Ani’s Advent 2019! A Mystery… and a letter from Dante-Dawg

Okay, Santa,

Another week and I’m safe from the antlers!

So many friends have come to my rescue…it’s wonderful!

And so many of them are not asking for much for themselves either. They all seem to be thinking about others. So… I don’t get it.

You fly all around the world…see all kinds of two-legses and four-legses…in fact all the numbers of legses… and if so many of them care about others, of their own species or different species, how come there are still so many going without the basic things like food, clean water and a warm bed at night?

It doesn’t add up.

If the ordinary folk… not that anyone is ordinary… want things to change, how come they don’t?

I’m not asking you to give away trade secrets here, but, if you know who’s responsible for it not happening… would you have a word please?

My mate Dante feels the same as I do…

Much love, Ani xxx

Dear Santa,

It’s me, Dante Dawg. Hopes it’s not too cold for you in the sleigh and the reindeer’s have their carrots. I loves carrots. Anyway, I was hoping you could reads my letter and maybe, maybe, you coulds do the magic thingy for the things on my list.

I hear my two leggeds talking about how us animals and the natures are in danger all the time and I gets worried. Not about me; I’m fine, but abouts the others out there who don’t have the luck I have and have no two leggeds to love them. Please could you visits them and see they’re okay and maybe help them. If anyone can do it, you can Santa. As for the natures could you give the bad humans a talking to for hurting the natures.

I wishes for all the health for my two legs and all the other ones they love as it’s been a sad year for them, too many of their two legs getting sick.

Oh, oh, and could you please let my two legs see another caravan up at the beach heaven, they loves it and they are always smiling up there. And I loves it too, so many sniffs and the sea, I loves the sea Santa. They keep saying I’m a beach dog and smiling when they say it. I likes it when they smile.

Umm, I thinks that’s it, Santa, I will leave the sweet stuff and carrot for the reindeer’s in the usual place and make sure my two legs are sleeping when you get here.

Lots of paw love,

Dante the Dawg.

Woof woof.

  8. I’m totally with the dawgz. I think we should stop having two legges politicians and start electing the dawgz. Maybe if they cuddle up with the bad ones, things will get better.

  12. You make a good point, Dante – too many animals don’t get the love they deserve. Some humans definitely deserve a lump of coal from Santa!
