Is nobody posting
Across the whole land?
Did the sky just fall in?
Is the alphabet banned?
I’m completely mystified,
Puzzled I am…
I’ve checked all my settings
And been through the spam…
But no-one is posting.
I started to fidget,
And rooted around
Till I’d checked every widget
The pages are empty,
There’s no-one in sight…
Which is very unusual
This time of night.
But only one answer
Makes sense to my brain…
The WordPress opressors
Are playing again…
Press a button or two to share... go on, make my day :)

About Sue Vincent
Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.
Hope you get this message! I must admit, I haven’t been posting lately – too busy writing. I never know how people can do both.
Love your witty rhyme! 🙂

I’ve put out several posts, but not seeing the usual influx of readers or notifications from other blogs Sue.
It’s been like that for several weeks now so goodness knows what hare-brained ideas (I mean – FANTASTIC INNOVATIONS) are being scraped from the bottom of the ideas barrel (I mean – BEING PREPARED) to make like more interestingly difficult (I mean EASIER?) for us poor suckers (I mean – VALUED BLOGGERS) 😱😘

Yep, that about says it all, Chris 🙂 It’s been pretty quiet around here too for a while, but today is the quietest.. apart from when They randomly click that little button in settings that then tells me ‘you have turned off all email notofiations’… They seem to like doing that lately…

In the last two or three weeks I’ve had a few days like that – very few posts in the Reade and almost no views. I only receive emails for about 1/50th of the blogs i follow, yet every day for those three weeks i will get an e-mail from at least one blog and not see the post in the Reader. WP is planning some major “upgrade” again…..

Well, I have been away on a lovely holiday – but I don’t think that can have caused such havoc in the blogging world!
I’m never goign to catch up with all the posts I’ve missed so starting from scratch tomorrow.

It was bliss – sunshine every day, lots of lovely food, wine, walking, lazing about reading and sunshine every day. Did I mention the sunshine already? Haven’t seen it since we came home.

I think you are right. It was completely dead last night and now they pages look different. Again. They were probably updating (????) the software. Keeping us on our toes. I got almost no hits all through the night and it’s still very slow today.

I thought things were looking different too, but wondered if it was just imagination… or looking for trouble. Still waay too quiet…

I have fallen behind in the online world as I try to keep up with the real one. And am trying to pretend (in the online world) that all is okay. Is this what we all do to some extent?

We probably do… but I am getting increasingly frustrated with what is going on in here.

Windows anniversary update!!!! It almost trashed my laptop after forcing me offline for days whilst it tried to download it – I didn’t know so I cut the connection in disgust at the “slow” connection that wasn’t….so took a while to get the update on…and installed….and then even longer to get the laptop rescued from near death and out of intensive care so no online or anything else! All functionality was failing!!! Paws crossed it’s out of the woods now 🙂

Oh goodness, how awful! I do hope it is all resoved and working now!

Thankfully yes! Took several days and a batch of further updates to get back up and running normally but has been fine so far…apart from a strange unannounced switch off for no reason yesterday…little click then all shut down in a second. Battery was still 79% charged so very inexplicable. No warnings, nothing. Okay on the mains so paws crossed it doesn’t happen again! 🙂
