The frustrating thing us that I have so much to share…and the internet that should have been installed today finally after ten silent days…will not now be up and running till the 23rd…
Quite why, a mere forty miles from London, it should take three ruddy weeks to flick a switch and connect a wire to an existing socket, I cannot image…but what do I know.
Meanwhile, access is ridiculously limited and usually involves a pub with wifi…
I suffer, of course… 🙂

Sorry, but not surprised at your frustrating wait to be connected. My husband works in computers and I often hear very bad words, especially if BT is involved. Hope you are up and running soon.

Oh dear … a friend of mine here was in trouble for being jobless for months on.
Thank God that he got an offer and today is (or was) his first day of work and I hope he’s doing ok.
For five months long the internet bills couldn’t be paid and the phone company cut his cable off. He suffered as well.
Well, then, Sue … then you have to lead on other activities until then. I wish you still a lovely day, the best of days and weeks and do enjoy life!
See ya again SOON!

Oh, dear, talk about a lifestyle change! Three weeks is a long time without internet these days. It’s not like you’re in some backwater, after all.
Hope you and Ani are otherwise adjusting to your new environment. 🙂

I was going to make a joke about you living at the South Pole, and then I realized that if you really were at the South Pole, your Internet connection might well be better.

Oh dear. I’m horribly addicted to the internet. It would be hard. But then I don’t post cool stuff like you do. We should probably switch 🙂
