Dear Don,
Whoo hoo! Finding Don & Wen is now live!
I really enjoyed getting this one put together. Who would have thought it would work out quite so well?
Can you believe how much stuff we were already working with, right back at the beginning? And we understood so little… but every quest has to start somewhere, even before you realise what is happening.
From our early speculations on how the layers of history and earth energies work together, through all the intertwined stories and weirdly interchangeable symbolism that doesn’t seem to mind to which system you apply it, and whether we found both clues and answers in stone circles, forgotten chapels or the great cathedrals… it has been an amazing journey so far. And we are not finished yet…

It’s hard to keep tabs on children. I miss not being able to summon them all here. The eldest is expecting her first in April too and I’d have liked to be around more.

I know. They’re expecting a peak in March so we’ll probably be in lockdown again. It’s history repeating itself. My mother was thousands of miles from her mother when I was born, I was in Paris when mine were born, and now even though we’re only 100kms away, Covid will very likely mean we won’t be able to get to be with my daughter any time around the birth.

We are in lockdown here indefinitely apparently… but I hear you. I was in Vichy… mother in Yorkshire.
There are family members I would have liked to see again now too and that won’t happen, thanks to covid either.

What would they do though if you just got in the car and went visiting? Give you a fine? I’d not be bound by the rules as they’re mostly arbitrary, invented by self-serving politicians who don’t know what they’re doing and don’t feel bound by them themselves. Take sensible and respectful precautions and sod the travel restrictions.

Set myself above the law… and be no better than the politicians? Perish the thought… 😉

I bet they don’t get fined though, and if they did they wouldn’t pay it.
