I like this idea of a centrifugal priesthood periodically moving centripetally, which incidentally is pretty much the opening gambit to the ‘…Spoil’

Spiritual Ideals is not bad…

I’d only really got as far as the phrase ‘following your lights’… I love these expressions which every one uses thinking they know what they mean, and maybe at some base, instinctual level we do know but we don’t necessarily always use them with full knowledge…

If one were following one’s lights could one ever really get lost? I think not.
