I used to sell them in beautifully full hanging baskets at a Garden Centre I managed for 11 years. They were great for shady areas and stunning! I used to think of them as tiny ballerinas . Thanks for the lovely share 💜

So far, my garden hasn’t responded to the lower temperatures, but according to this mornings weather report, that is about to change. -3 degrees is on its way!

We’ve been well under zero already, but apart from the trees, you would barely know.

This past Monday was the first morning with a real bite of a chill, and the last signs of summer having vanished…and this haiku of yours summarizes my feelings fully. If there is any sign of summer, hold onto it as winter is clawing its way towards us 🙂

The leaves are still clingint to the trees here and many flowers are still blooming…but the frost has already begun.

A beautiful haiku for a Fuchsia Sue. As I write this comment I look out the window to where Charlie is buried and flowering profusely above her is an identical plant. A wonderful memory.

That’s lovely, Denis. My great garndfather buried the Setters beneath lilac trees.
