About Sue Vincent

Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue  passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.

So far, my garden hasn’t responded to the lower temperatures, but according to this mornings weather report, that is about to change. -3 degrees is on its way!

This past Monday was the first morning with a real bite of a chill, and the last signs of summer having vanished…and this haiku of yours summarizes my feelings fully. If there is any sign of summer, hold onto it as winter is clawing its way towards us 🙂

A beautiful haiku for a Fuchsia Sue. As I write this comment I look out the window to where Charlie is buried and flowering profusely above her is an identical plant. A wonderful memory.
