Doors
Unlocked
Black and white
Light and shadow
Inviting footsteps
Forgotten dust playing
Caught between merry sunbeams
And the depths of ancient sorrow
Afraid of moving forward too fast
Too fearful to risk standing in one place
Conscious of every twisting corridor
The mind builds between the then and now
Imagined monsters lie in wait
Behind illusory walls
Dreams walk the labyrinth
Seeking fragile hopes
To light the way
Sleepers wake
Knowing
Love

About Sue Vincent

Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue  passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.

A wonderful double etheree, Sue. You encapsulate everything that is wrong with that place and yet the fragile trace of what could be found there…

Oh, Sue, I love your double etheree. It is beautiful! What lurks in the shadows is what I worry about. I’ll stay where the sunbeams light the darkness. ❤️🤗❤️
