I could smell them long before they came in, dirty, stinky creatures all of them.

“Not in my home, not in my home,” I prayed with all my might, but the almighty must have been fast asleep, for they made their way straight towards my entrance. A pity, for HE too would have found it impossible to rest (even on the 7th Day after creating the universe) amidst the din that I was sure would ensue in just a few minutes.

It had started with the rats, but those I could still bear. They were quiet, docile and clean, at least when compared to these pests. But now, he had gone too far!
