Reaching through the mists
Stone and sea melding with sky
A presence half-glimpsed
The breeze carries a whisper
Only the watchers will hear

The photo for this week’s prompt was taken at Carn Lês Boel in Cornwall during our recent visit. We had taken a magical walk through sheltered lanes shrouded in mist and a myriad wildflowers to reach the cliffs and an ancient sacred site. As we left the cliff fortress, the mists that had opened to give us a brief but clear sight of the coast closed around us once more. This solitary figure stood unmoving for a moment at the entrance to the site before she was swallowed by the mists once more.

Thank you so much to everyone who took part this week. There were just too many to reblog all of them the posts this week, but they are all listed below, so please click on the links to read them and leave a comment for the author! Thank you too, to everyone who reblogged the prompt, round up and the individual resposes!
Pingbacks do not always come through… if you have written a post for this challenge and it does not appear in the round-up, please leave a link to your post in the comments and I will add it to the list.
A new prompt will be published later today. I will reblog as many contributions as space and time allows, as they come in… and all of them will be featured in the round-up on Thursday.

I love the poem, Sue, and the description of the watcher. I was certain it was a part of your group or someone you knew. The reality was much more mystical. Lots of great responses to this one. 🙂
