Gremlins in the works again…

So, there I am, busily typing away, scheduling posts for the few days I won’t be at the computer much, and WordPress decides to play games.

It isn’t enough that I’m still getting to grips with the figures since Facebook pulled the plug on sharing to personal pages. And since StumbleUpon went missing for good…

No, they choose the moment I am burning the midnight oil (again) to eat posts. And those that don’t get eaten and which I have correctly scheduled for days to come… those are published immediately…regardless of anything I put in as time and date.

So, if things seem a little weird around here for the next day or two…blame the Gremlins again.

And be careful… they are obviously playing again…

  4. I was wondering why I had emails for your posts but when I clicked on them, they were gone. Those darn gremlins. Better make sure there’s no water nearby. Don’t want them to multiply!!! 😊

  5. I’ve encountered the WP gremlins this week, as well. It took me the whole of Wednesday to create a new post and a new page – I was nearly tearing my hair out as I navigated my way around the glitches. Then again, Mercury has been in retrograde, so maybe that explains it.

  11. Since weeks wp.com also plays with me. I dont get the mails i should get. In the meantime they send me mails from blogs i never followed before. No problem, but information from the blogs i follow would be nice too. 😉 Michael

  12. I really haven’t recovered from the loss of just the daily prompt and weekly photo challenge. And ironically, life is very busy, and there seems to be more to do than before. how can that be? And responses are all over the place. Up, down, no logic or reason. They pulled the plug on more than just challenges.

Oh Sue, I know that feeling of disappearing posts after I’ve written them during optimal glitch times. I began writing my blog posts in a Word doc and copying and pasting for quite awhile when I was losing my work. But are you saying after you scheduled and saved they evaporated? 😦 xx

Someone’s been feeding them after midnight. 🙂 … perhaps if you threaten them with no breakfast they’ll sort things out for you. 🙂
