Perpetual canon

My eyes open on a world of changing seasons

Dancing to a song of life in death and death in life

Where reason is the rhythm.

My eyes may close in wakeful sleep

My soul will dance

Where rhythm is the song.

The song is hushed, but only for a moment

As winter turns to spring

Eternal melody.
