Enchanted #midnighthaiku

The enchantress calls
Earth responds with eagerness
Dark dreams dissipate

A slow surrender
The constancy of winter
Ceding place to spring
Her verdant alchemy
Turning iron skies to gold

About Sue Vincent

Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue  passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.

Sue, your photos, and prose are a breath of spring. Such color… we’re still brown. 😦

  7. We had more “constancy of winter” in Cumbria this weekend so I bet you did in Yorkshire. My Peron loved the second poem, especially the last two lines.

Lovely, Sue! We had a return of winter and while the daffodils are out, the rest of the world is still very much grey. The green in your pictures is brilliant. Can’t wait to see it back here, too.
