Ani’s Advent Invitation: Dante writes to Santa…with Adele Marie Park

I had a letter from my mate, Dante, who looks after Adele Marie Park. Now, Dante is a really handsome dog… and bigger than me, by the looks of things. He also has a very big heart. And that is probably the best thing about Christmas…you get to look into people’s eyes and see what their heart is up to.

Dante’s letter to Santa

Adele Marie Park

Dear Santa,

I’s is asking for  all my pals to be happy over this time when lights flash and noises make me jump.

I’s is asking for my two legs to be healthy. See they’ve been not good, Santa and I worry. So send em the health in their stocking. Don’t know what a stocking is but they keeps mentioning it.

I’s is asking for snow. I loves the snow and it makes my two legs smile and laugh as I does the tricks in it.

I’s is asking for my Aunty Tara to be healthy too. I thinks she gets the knock out shakes and I loves her and wants her to be well.

I is going to turn a blind eye to you coming Santa so that the magic won’t go away.

I is leaving out a biscuit for you and one of my carrots for the big thing with the bones sticking out of their head.

I loves you Santa and I knows that the magic is for all things not just two legs and doggos. I is going to keep it in my heart all the time.

Thanks to you Santa,

Much paw love from Dante Dawg.

She would especially like to hear from her four-legged or feathered friends (she has a special place very close to her heart for turkeys)… but she says that two-legs are better than none, so she will accept submissions from humans too.
