Alex had found the tunnel by accident and it took the sting out of living in a town where he didn’t want to be and a rented house he hated.
He was drawn to it every day until it became the centre of his world and he spent every moment in this inner chamber hidden deep in the bowels of the house, shut away from everyone and everything.
Things began to change.
He heard voices, saw lights in the darkness, yet felt no fear.
The visions came then, and suddenly he was a part of it.
The walls extended outwards, the portal closed and there was no going back.
He stepped towards his destiny.
