The photo for this week’s prompt was taken in the Jersey Arms, Stoney Middleton, not too far from my home. The cruel shadow caught my eye, both as an image and as a commentary on Man’s relationship with the creatures with whom we share the world.

I do try and keep it family friendly…but I would always add to the round-up anything I can’t reblog becuse of space or any other reason.

I liked these lines: “Take not what must be given” and “Beauty driven not seduced”. Spurs make me think the horse is more a machine than a friend.
