Sue Vincent’s #Writephoto, Change of Season  – Bob Fairfield

A

shaft

of light

illuminates one tree

and silhouettes in stark relief

the ravages of Autumn’s dessicating wind and warmth

About Sue Vincent

Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue  passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.

Being blind I can not see the photograph. I am, however rather taken with the poem.

  3. Loved this of course. Many people, myself included, love autumn but that sense of winter closing in around can certainly affect the mood and I know depresses many people. I’m a sort of “Bring on the weather” kind of man, but even I can’t miss the lowering of cheer brought on by the shortening day.
