You think you are alone,
But our eyes are watchful
From our vantage point on high.

We remain still,
Hidden by the leafy foliage,
You may only hear our collective sigh.

All is quiet,
Save a rustling in the trees,
As they caress  a clear blue sky.

You can’t see us,
These birds in a nest above,
Oblivious, you pass on by.
