My son shares his latest adventures… please click through to his blog to see some stunning photography and, more importantly, what he’s been up to this time…
“It all started when I contacted a friend about meeting for a catch up. She replied telling me that she couldn’t as she was in Hong Kong. I replied telling her how jealous I was and left it at that. The next day, a very helpful receptionist had pointed me towards some travel blogs. There was one post where somebody had visited Hong Kong. I imagined how the thought of going alone scared me. Big mistake! You see, I have started making a point of facing all my fears head on. He’s certainly a determined young man, Sue – Good for him and well done you, for having instilled such courage in him 👍😃

Wow and what a friend he made in Bing. I grew up listening to my mum insist we make our own opportunities and it looks like your son certainly does.

Yes, Nick seems to have made a good friend there. As to the opportuniies, he does, Tric… the wheelchair may hamper, but it doesn’t stop him 🙂

I didn’t know his story until I read it on his blog. I’m blown away and also what you must have gone through too. I’ll keep that line with me, “Everyone dies, not everyone lives”

I’m proud of both my sons, Tric… they both went through their own special hell after the attack. Nick faces so many challenges for even the simplest of things…and continually challenges himself to live out loud.
