Thursday photo prompt – Enigma #writephoto

#writephoto

Use the image below to create a post on your own blog… poetry, prose, humour… light or dark, whatever you choose, by noon (GMT)  Wednesday 19th April and link back to this post with a pingback. Please make sure that the pingback works and if not, copy and paste your link into the comments section of this post.

Please note: I will be away from the computer for a good while this week as we head into the Silent Eye’s annual workshop weekend…inspired by the presence of the ancient stones that stand in silent mystery across our landscape. Reblogs and responses to comments will be a little errratic until I am back at the screen, but all posts will feature in the round-up.

Don’t forget to use the #writephoto hashtag in your title so your posts can be found.

You can find all last week’s entries in the round-up. Please visit and read the stories and poems and explore the sites of their writers.

I will feature as many entries as I can on the blog during the week, but given the volume of contributions we are getting every week, that will not be all of them! All posts will be included in a round up on Thursday 20th April.

Feel free to use #writephoto logo or include the prompt photo in your post if you wish or you can replace it with one of your own to illustrate your work.

Have fun!

Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. 5. For some reason I can’t get the photo onto my desktop. I’ll try again later, otherwise it will have to be a story about random stones.

  11. I love this photo. ❤ Stayed at Avebury (in a tiny inn–don't know if it's still there) a few years ago. I absolutely loved it there.

Culleen has been nudging and poking at me after seeing several previous prompts to which I only wrote non-posted fragments. She is restless and impatience; so some writing in the raw on her quest.

The picture is very intriguing. North America doesn’t have standing stones to my knowledge.
