Why does Taylor Gingernut look so shocked?

I can tell you a bit about Taylor Gingernut though:
There was a red-haired lass called Tay;
Who always had plenty to say;
When the flowers damaged she found;

A bit about Sir Chocolate and the sugar dough bees story and cookbook
A greedy snail damages the flower fields and the fondant bees are in danger of starving. Join Sir Chocolate on an adventure to find the fruit drop fairies who have magic healing powers and discover how to make some of his favourite foods on the way.
Sir Chocolate and the Sugar Dough Bees story and cookbook combines a delightful little story, illustrated using photographs of our creations made from cake, biscuits and fondant, with five simple recipes that children can make under adult supervision. The book also includes a new poem about growing up entitled Baby Girl. The poem expresses the feelings of a Mother as she watches her little girl growing into a teenager.
Sir Chocolate and the sugar dough bees story and cookbook is Book 3 in the Sir Chocolate Books series and will be available at the end of March 2017.
Meet the baddie
The greedy snail is the baddie in this tale. He causes the damage to the flower gardens that put the lives of the fondant bees and their Queen in danger.
My sons, Michael (aged 11 years old), Gregory (aged 14 years old) and I, all had our own ideas about what this particular baddie should look like.

The characters
As well as Sir Chocolate and Lady Sweet, both of whom you have already met in Books 1 and 2 of the Sir Chocolate Books series, you will meet some other lovely new characters.
The fruit drop fairies and their magnificent queen come to the aid of the sugar dough bees. Queen Lemon drop is pleased to meet you here:
Queen Lemon drop is a kind and lovely fairy who is always ready to help animals, plants and other creatures in need. She looks after the health of the forest with the other fruit drop fairies.

About Robbie and Michael Cheadle
Robbie Cheadle was born in London in the United Kingdom. Her father died when she was three months old and her mother immigrated to South Africa with her tiny baby girl. Robbie has lived in Johannesburg, George and Cape Town in South Africa and attended fourteen different schools. This gave her lots of opportunities to meet new people and learn lots of social skills as she was frequently “the new girl”.
Robbie is a qualified Chartered Accountant and specialises in corporate finance with a specific interest in listed entities and stock markets. Robbie has written a number of publications on listing equities and debt instruments in Africa and foreign direct investment into Africa.
Robbie is married to Terence Cheadle and they have two lovely boys, Gregory and Michael. Michael (aged 11) is the co-author of the Sir Chocolate series of books and attends school in Johannesburg. Gregory (aged 14) is an avid reader and assists Robbie and Michael with filming and editing their YouTube videos and editing their books.

I must say that the Mom’s and Grannies seem to really like the baking idea. The little girls like the idea of their very own first recipe book.

These are utterly charming stories and wonderful creations. I can see this going global.. even with it’s own TV show… a sort of edible Magic Roundabout… although I don’t know anyone who be so heartless to eat such endearing characters… even the snail with fangs is cute!

Robbie, I love every one of your creations, especially Taylor Gingernut. The only problem is, I also want to eat every one of them! You wouldn’t want me anywhere near you while baking to photograph. How wonderful that you have such an ongoing creative project to enjoy with your children. I’m looking forward to reading your books 💕
