reinventions-coverThe earth rotates at a speed of 1040 miles per hour. While we are in a jet or Ferrari, we do not feel the speed or movement. It is because we are moving with it at the same speed.

We are in a constant state of flux – physical, mental and emotional, along with all the molecules and neurons that constitute our being. Yet, we do not feel it. The slow accretion of imperceptible change transforms us every moment, and one fine day, we sit up and ask “Why don’t I feel or react the same way, as I did 10 years ago?”

We need to stop and look inwards, and feel the change. It is good to have a 360 degree feedback. But it is much better to have companions in your thought process, who validate your assumptions and conclusions, with their experience-shares. Reading and interacting open up this vista of experience, which enriches us, bit-by-bit, minute-by-minute, and we do not know it.

We reinvent ourselves constantly, and there are several aspects to the change. I have recorded my observations, stories and perspective in several blogs round the year, and changed myself. The process has been invisible and imperceptible, yet, the people close to me can tell.

Self-discovery is such a shallow term, often bandied around to indicate a measure of depth. We have always known ourselves. The challenge is to express oneself without fear or fervor. I have been on that journey for the last two years, after quitting a long and claustrophobic corporate career.

A flair for writing led me to blogging, poetry and now micro-fiction and micro-poetry. I am a coach  and personal branding consultant by profession, so am wading in waters related to Psychology and Thinking. I take pride in reinventing myself from a staid, boring banker to a vibrant Image & Success Coach and Writer.

ReInventions is the outfit that I run to coach, guide and train people – on their quest for a new career, a new personality or a new look.

ReInventions is also the title of a book – a collection of my blogs published in 2016, on the subjects of Behavior Management, Thinking Skills and Personal Branding.  It covers both the internal and external aspects of a personality. A few chats with experts on various current topics, on the Dynamics platform are thrown in for good measure. It has 58 articles in 382 pages.
