The photo for the prompt was taken on the Chatsworth Estate in Derbyshire one January day. It is such a magical place that we named it the Valley of Dancing Trees.
Thank you to everyone who took part, read, shared and commented on the entries for this week’s photo prompt! I have reblogged as many of the entries as possible and include links to all the original posts below.

A new photo prompt will follow.
The Valley of the Dancers
Shadow-lit pathway,
Emerald oasis in a sea of tears
Wept copper gold.
Frozen dancers
Twisted at birth,
Forced through stone
To seek the sky
And grown against the wind.
Silently,
The old ones wait,
Till, diademed in stars
Against a velvet night,
The time returns
To dance.
