Why did the sheep cross the road? That’s the question I asked for the photo prompt… and the answers were…varied 🙂
Black sheep
“You can’t raid their garden!” Number 316 looked at her friend in horror. This was the epitome of woolly thinking.
“It’s medicinal. You know I’ve been feeling off colour…I’m sure it’s a dietary problem.” 317 toyed with a blade of grass and had the grace to look sheepish. “They’ll never know I’m gone.”
“They’re always counting sheep…”
“Right… but only with their eyes closed!”
“What about the dogs…?”
“I’ll wait till they’re asleep, then go on the rampage. It’s their own fault. They said that there was plenty of mint in the herb garden… and that mint is good for lamb…”
