From my writing partner, Stuart France for the photo prompt…
“Oooh look!” said Wen, “It’s a Hobbit Door…”
“Well, it’s certainly a very Hobbit-Like door,” said Don, less enthusiastically.
“I wonder what’s on the other side,” said Wen ignoring Don’s scepticism.
“Hobbit-like things, I expect,” said Don even less enthusiastically.
“I could make it into a writing challenge, ‘describe the other side of the door in one hundred words’.”
“A bit mean on the word count aren’t we?” said Don.
“Thinking of having a go?”
“I don’t need to have a go, from my vantage point I can see over the wall. There’s just a bush!”
“Spoil sport,” said Wen.
It’s definitely a wormhole to a parallel universe. I know these things.
