Away with the fairies…

harvest being 2014 050

…or, as we will be up on Rombald’s Moor, it is more likely to be boggarts and giants…

This weekend sees companions of the Silent Eye gather at Ilkley for the Harvest of Being weekend. I will be away for several days and have limited internet access, which explains why it may be unusually quiet around here.

Of course, the camera is coming with me… and we have a few places we need to see…

So, I’ll see you on the other side 🙂

About Sue Vincent

Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue  passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.

Have a lovely time but keep a careful eye and ear open for that giant hellhound of the Baskervilles.

Have a wonderful time in Ilkley – where I went to school for many years at the school on the moors. Remember many many wonderful weekend rambles among the bracken. Enjoy.

  11. Looking over the valley from the outcropping, I could easily imagine Giants of lore planning an ambush on unsuspecting peasants as they made their way towards the mountain pass. The valley floor, already littered with the ammunition of previous attacks, would offer little protection for those not wary of the dangers.
