Caught in my son’s garden today, this little family of bluetits made me smile. The babies, like little masked raiders with their bright yellow beaks, the parents, blue capped and harrassed are all very confident and friendly. Simply a joyous thing to watch.

We have a similar little guy who hangs out on our deck and sings so loudly he sounds electronically enhanced. Great pix!

These are so tiny, Marilyn… yet also sing very loudly and insistently.

The little birds are wonderfully full of life and energy at this time of year Sue, and you caught that beautifully. I love their colours and their cheeky little eyes!

The rather fuzzy one shaking its feathers might look a bit blurry, but so did the little bird 🙂

Beautiful photos of the birds. When we lived in Central New York, we’d put out treats for the birds as well. Some crafty squirrel was always trying to figure out how to get to the goodies. 😉

We get the squirrels as well… and they usually manage pretty well, so Nick got them a feeder of their own 🙂 The snails, however, just help themselves 🙂
