Searching for Being

Glaston weekend 086The Self Detectives: Searching for Being: the quest for Inner Light

We are spiritual beings in a material world. It can be difficult to reconcile the two and many questions are asked of how and why. This series of interactive talks, with guided meditations, shared knowledge and a uniquely light touch seeks to answer some of the questions we all face and show a way into Being.

The evenings run from 7.00-9.00 with a short break at ‘half-time’. The first Thursday of every other month from Feb-December, starting on 6th Feb 2014.

Full details and a brochure are available on the website of the Glastonbury Pilgrim Reception Centre.

The Avalon Room, Isle of Avalon Foundation, 2-4 High St, Glastonbury, Somerset BA6 9DU

Under the aegis of the Glastonbury Pilgrim Reception Centre:

Steve Tanham and Sue Vincent, directors of the Silent Eye, a modern Mystery School.

Steve and Sue are well known and experienced figures in the esoteric world; both have trained and worked within the mystical and magical traditions of the Western Mysteries all their lives.

A series of six interactive talks where we will explore the nature of the Self, our place within the manifested world and the simple, natural pathway back to Being… that state of living that transcends the confines of the material world and lights the flame within.

Using a fictional story based upon the quest each one of us faces when seeking the inner Light of Being, we explore the nature of the journey we each may take, seeking …and finding… answers that point the way through the labyrinth of life. Each session will contain a chapter of this story, illustrated by a presentation and talk, suggested exercises and a guided meditation.

Notes and suggested exercises will be provided, and the journey will be presented in book form at the end of the year.

Okay… how much?

Each session costs £8.00 and is bookable separately, with a discount for block bookings.

Come and join us for the evening in the heart of Avalon!
